CPOF Day
Today is a special day in Floyd’s home state, Colorado! Gov. Jared Polis today issued a proclamation declaring July 1 Colorado Pet Overpopulation Fund (CPOF) Day. CPOF is a charitable fund established in 2001 by the Colorado State Legislature that works with animal care and control organizations, pet rescues, veterinarians and local communities to curb pet overpopulation in Colorado. In addition, CPOF provides medical care to make shelter pets more adoptable and helps educate the public about the importance of controlling pet overpopulation.
You can support CPOF through clicks, ticks or plates (online donations, the Colorado tax checkoff or the special use Adopt a Shelter Pet Colorado license plate).

I'll be at the Kitten Pavilion at the Denver County Fair next weekend – July 29-30-31 along with Venus Two Face Cat who is the headliner & lots of other cats including adoptees looking for a forever home! My meet & greet is at 4:00pm on Sunday July 31st. I am donating 100% of the ticket sales to Denver Cat Care Society and the Longmont Humane Society. I'll be on stage all 3 days with a slideshow presentation and Q&A.
Look for my booth in the Kitten Pavilion: Booth 718–719. My moms will be slingin' all types of cool new merch!

Teams had from April 8th until April 29th to complete a movie, in any form, documentary, narrative or experimental, as long as the movie was shot entirely on Main Street Longmont in Downtown Longmont, from 3rd Avenue to Longs Peak and from Coffman Street to Kimbark Street. Cats Vs Cancer March Meowdness officially came to an end! Thank you to everyone who played along and voted for me! Congratulations to Marmalde on the win! 🏆😻 I came in 2nd. We brought over 40K unique views to Cats Vs Cancer's site yesterday alone! Cats vs Cancer is a non-profit site, run by volunteers, built to help those battling cancer. Each month they take money raised through ads sold on the site, as well as donations, and give that to a cancer charity. They are a pawsitive non-profit with the mission to be the most entertaining and fun charity on the planet. We cats help them achieve this through our funny, lovable & entertaining ways!
